Hannah is a Clinical Intern seeing clients via telehealth and in the Chicago-Lakeview office.
Welcome! I’m Hannah, a master’s level Clinical Intern passionate about supporting adolescents, young adults, and adults as they navigate issues including anxiety, depression, body image issues, eating disorders, life transitions, and identity issues.
As a counselor, my style is warm, compassionate, and relational. I know that reaching out for support can be difficult, and that at times it may feel like no one could possibly understand what you’re going through. Together we will create a space for you to express yourself, identify goals for change in your life, and move forward one step at a time.
Some of the values I bring with me into the therapy room include being body positive, culturally attuned, LGBTQ+ affirming, and trauma-informed. I am rooted in the principles of Health At Every Size (which have helped me personally on my path towards self-acceptance) and which, I believe, are key to full recovery from body image and disordered eating issues
My therapeutic approach is individual to each unique client and draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I also use expressive arts techniques such as writing, visual art-making, and music that can deepen the therapeutic experience.
No matter where you are in life or what you are struggling with, you deserve support. It is my privilege to walk alongside you on your path to healing.
