Gillian Taylor, MAT, LCPC, ATR, PMH-C, Therapist

Gillian Taylor is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist at Bricolage Wellness seeing clients in the Lombard location.

Do you feel lost, confused, or left behind?

Do you find yourself in situations where you feel too overwhelmed to keep it all together, but don’t know where to turn to for support?

Many of us experience these types of difficulties at various crossroads in our lives. My name is Gillian, and I am a clinical therapist and an art therapist at Bricolage Wellness. My aim is to help you develop skills that will serve you as you navigate difficulties in the present, fears of the future, and memories of the past.

Life can be hard. Sometimes we can’t find the right words to describe our feelings. As an art therapist, I can guide you toward a better understanding of yourself and to a place of hope, working with art when words are not enough. As a licensed clinician, I am also well versed in talk therapy, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Interventions to help people connect to the present moment.

My clinical interests include working with adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing depression and anxiety, obsessive thinking, self-harm, substance abuse, relationship issues and challenges with guilt, shame and self-esteem as well as difficult life transitions.

And as part of my personal journey, I understand the feelings of grief and loss that come with stressors related to infertility and family planning as well as the transition to motherhood.

“Breathe deeply and hold your heart with gentle hands.”

You can achieve a life free of these burdens.

You can learn how to manage the stressors in your life.

Step into your best life.
